This week-long day camp provides children with the opportunity to connect to nature through play, discovery, the natural arts, and movement. Each day children participate in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, natural art, gardening, outdoor games, and stories, in addition to natural and organic explorations.
This day camp is ideal for children aged 6+ and takes place at a private wellness centre, Rocky Ridge Retreat in DeWinton, Alberta, located 10 minutes south of Calgary. Large open grasslands, rolling foothills, mountain views, a tranquil pond, a greenhouse & veggie garden, native plants, and picnic tables provide large engaging spaces for kids to be kids while connecting with nature and their true selves. An indoor kitchen, washroom & yoga/movement/art studio are all part of this unique setting. Children who are 5 years of age and attending with a sibling are welcome to attend at the discretion of a parent.
